About
CIO Concierge exists for situations where technology has moved beyond operations and become a source of organizational risk.
CIO Concierge is engaged by CEOs, board members, and owners when accountability exists, but ownership, clarity, or governance does not—and when the consequences of being wrong are no longer acceptable.
How This Is Different
CIO Concierge is not a help desk, a managed service provider, or a productized consultancy. I do not sell hardware, software, subscriptions, or ongoing services, and I am not incentivized by vendors or platforms.
My role is to operate independently—establishing clarity where responsibility is diffuse, and ensuring decisions are made in a way that is defensible under scrutiny.
Experience
I have spent decades working directly with technology in environments where failure, delay, or misjudgment carried real consequences—financial, regulatory, and reputational.
That experience informs a practical, governance-first approach focused on ownership, escalation paths, and decision integrity—rather than theory or tooling.
How Engagement Typically Begins
Engagements typically begin with a paid, confidential assessment focused on identifying where risk exists, who owns it, and what needs to be stabilized.
If the issue falls outside my scope, I will say so quickly. If it does not, I will outline next steps grounded in governance, accountability, and defensibility.
Initial engagement is a paid, confidential consultation focused on assessing risk and stabilizing the situation. If this is outside my scope, I’ll say so quickly.
